You'll have a chance to hear from and talk with State Rep. Jimmy Anderson, Nuestro Mundo Principal - Josh Forehand, Dane County Immigration Affairs Specialist - Fabiola Hamdan, Matt Gillhouse – Immigration Lawyer, and Rabbi Bonnie Margulis of WI Faith Voices for Justice.
Panelists will discuss questions like:
How do current immigration practices and policies impact our community?
How does it affect children in our schools?
What are the legal considerations?
How is the state of Wisconsin responding?
In small groups, participants will have the opportunity to continue the discussion and to consider how they might respond and take action regarding this issue.
